Google home and TriggerCMD stop working when Google home is set to French
-
Is it normal that all Google home TriggerCMD shortcuts stop working when the Google home is set to French?
Is it possible that TriggerCMD is not supported in French?
-
@alain-coderre, I've only setup the Google Assistant integration for English so far, but I just checked and I see that I could add French. I'll start working on it. Would you mind helping me out? Can you give me a few French words people might use for computer names and trigger names?
Also, will you please translate the basic command format for me? Google Translate doesn't always get it right.
Google translated this sentence:
Hey Google, ask TRIGGER command to run calculator on downstairs.
.. to this:
Hey Google, demandez à la commande TRIGGER d'exécuter la calculatrice en bas.
.. and I don't know if that's correct.
Also, can you translate this to french?
Say something like, run Calculator on Office PC.
-
Hey,
Can you also do a German integration, at least with the basic command?
That'd be: Hey Google, bitte TRIGGER cmd <PROGRAM> auf <DEVICE> auszuführen.
Would really appreciate it, thx!

@dominik-pellkofer, yes, I'll work on that too.
Can you confirm this is correct for the form with a parameter?
Hey Google, bitte TRIGGER cmd lauf @trigger auf @computer mit parameter @params
I have a bunch of info from the Alexa skill that I can use:

@russ Here are the translated words...
ask = demandez à
to run = d'exécuter
on = surSay something like, run Calculator on Office PC. = Dites quelque chose comme, exécutez la calculatrice sur le PC du bureau.

Thanks @dominik-pellkofer .

@dominik-pellkofer That's German... and not French!
-
@alain-coderre, oops, I wasn't paying attention. I actually did the German Alexa skill already so I should have known that.
-
Did someone managed to make this work in french ?
-
@fast-load, I actually wrote the code for french and german for Google Assistant, but I'm having trouble publishing it. There seems to be a glitch in the Google Assistant system and I've opened a support case about it. Stay tuned.

Update: I submitted the TRIGGERcmd version of the Google Action today with French and German support. When that passes their review process I'll submit the Trigger Command version.

@russ Any news???
-
@alain-coderre, I got through one problem and now I have another. I'm not getting much help from Google techsupport on it. I posted this question to Stack Overflow. You can read that to see what I'm up against.

@alain-coderre, I'm still working on this.
For the TRIGGER command equivalent, is this ok as an invocation phrase or do you recommend something else?
Déclencheur commandment
-
@russ The real translation is: "déclencheur de commande"
But if you need only two words : "déclencheur commandement" would also make sense. -
@Russ Any updates???
