Was working fine until the 21st and then all commands from Alexa stopped working to all 3 of my connected devices. History shows the last command run by Alexa Smart Home that was recorded was on the 21st. Has been working fine for months and I haven't changed anything in my environment.

Commands triggered from the GUI work
Commands triggered through the website work.

Only Alexa seems to be the issue.

      Any ideas?

@kellanist, I'm sorry. I don't know what happened, but one of these steps should fix it:

Go here and disable and re-enable the skill:
        https://www.amazon.com/VanderMey-Consulting-LLC-TRIGGERcmd-Smart/dp/B07P1MMFRP

If that doesn't work, delete your computer from your TRIGGERcmd account, then close and open your TRIGGERcmd Agent. It will prompt you for your token. Copy/paste that from the Instructions page, and it will re-create your computer. That will also re-create your Alexa devices.

This assumes you're using the TRIGGERcmd Smart Home Alexa skill. If you're using one of the original TRIGGERcmd Alexa skills, use these links to disable and re-enable the skill:

@Russ Finally got around to giving it a shot. Disabled the skill but when I went to re-enable the skill through amazon.ca, I click Enable -> Allow and I get this error message after it fails:

We were unable to link TRIGGERcmd Smart Home at this time.

Any idea what the issue could be?

          EDIT:

I just tried it again and it seems to have worked. Will keep you posted.

          EDIT2:

Fix worked. After getting it enabled the voice commands seem to be working again. I'll remember this for troubleshooting in the future since it seems to be non-destructive. Thanks!

Hi Russ, this has been going on for a while. I've rebuilt all my stuff following your directions on "removing all" about 8 time not. It's really gotten to be a total PITA. I have 19 commands, lots of Alexa routines, and every time I have to rebuild all of it. Last night rebuild again and works. Today it all went to crap.....

About to give up....just tired of it.

            Steve

@Russ stopped working again. I think you may need to open a ticket with Amazon and see why their skill stops working randomly.

@Steve-Porter and @kellanist, thank you for reporting this, and please hang in there. I will fix this.

@Steve-Porter, when did this start happening for you, was it around the 21st like @kellanist?
Also, please confirm you're using the Alexa TRIGGERcmd Smart Home skill. @kellanist you already confirmed this but I don't know about @Steve-Porter.

I think I know what's causing this. I think I've hit the limit of what my current firewall can handle.

I noticed recently that my firewall was rebooting once in a while, so I upgraded my firewall firmware this past weekend. The new firmware is logging that my connection table is full. The firewall's specs say it can handle more connections, but I suspect the specs are wrong. I bought a more powerful firewall that arrived today and I started configuring it.

Assuming that's it, people are likely going to have this problem intermittently until I fix it. I'm hoping to install the new firewall tomorrow.

@kellanist and @Steve-Porter, I replaced my firewall tonight. I'm hoping that fixes it, so please tell me if you have the problem again.

@Victor-Medeiros, what have you tried? Which skill are you using? Did you try unlinking and re-linking?
