    • Question about how many computers is this

      Hi, I installed the windows agent on one computer (PC A) and created a few smart home triggers where a few of them just launch different .bat files located on the same PC A for on and off commands.

      As for its position, working directly on PC A with its keyboard and monitor is a bit awkward, can I use another PC in a better position just to create the triggers and then add them to the commands.json located on PC A? Or this is considered like using more than one computer?
      Thanks.

    • Change computer

      While waiting for the delivery of the pieces for a new PC (let's call it PC A) I setup an account temporarily using another PC (let's call it PC 😎 and created a few triggers.

      Now the PC A is up and running: can I swap PC without loosing the triggers I have already created?
      If yes, how?
      Thanks.

    • RE: No-GUI TRIGGERcmd agent that works on 32bit Windows

      @prik-m

      I can't make this trigger to work on the Win 32 pc. I copied the config lines from the commands.json file I created with the GUI on a win 64 pc:

      ,
       {
        "trigger": "FB desk stop",
        "command": "C:\\Users\\fabio\\Desktop\\foobar162\\foobar2000.exe /stop",
        "offCommand": "",
        "ground": "foreground",
        "voice": "music desk stop",
        "voiceReply": "got it",
        "allowParams": "false"
       }

      Even if I trigger it with the online green button it does nothing and I can't see anything happening in an open cmd window: any clue? Or at least how can I troubleshoot this problem?

      Thanks.

      @Russ
      Hi Russ,
      thank you for the propmp reply.
      The js version is v8.9.1
      I re-ran the .bat and it asked for the token again.
      Now the site sees my triggers and updates them straight away.

      After a few minutes, the Google Home app is not getting the updates anymore : any hint?
      Thanks.

      @Russ
      I'm posting here because I followed the previos posts instruction to installa the agent on a Win 7 32bit PC.

      Yesterday I did the same on my PC (Win 7 64) to test the remote controls through Alexa on my phone (waiting for the delivery of an Echo 4 ge speaker) and everything works.
      Now I'm setting up an agent on my wife's music PC so she can control Foobar remotely with Google assistant.
      On the site I can see the computer and the triggers (Calc and notepad) but clicking on the green button I can only see the site going into another page for a second and then coming back to the list, but on the PC and in in a vmd window nothing happens.

      What should I check?

      Thank you.

    • Testing: triggering from Alexa app on Android phone doesn't work for me.

      Hello, I'm making some test to see if I can control my music player (Foobar2000) with Alexa through TriggerCMD smat home.

      I installed the Win agent (win 7 64) and I activate Triggercms smart home into my Android cell, connected with my google account and I can see the skill is enabled.

      In Win GUI editor I created two triggers:
      Test 1 - that will launch this command:
      C:\Users\fabio\Desktop\foobar162\foobar2000.exe /play
      and Test 2 - that will launch this one:
      C:\Users\fabio\Desktop\foobar162\foobar2000.exe /stop

      After a few seconds the two commands appeared on the phone into the "devices" page of the Alexa app.
      I can also see them listed in the computer page of the Triggercmd online site.

      When I clicked on Test 1 trigger button in the computer online page the command had been executed on the pc and the player started to play. The same happened when I did the same with Test 2 button. After a couple of minutes (still testing, I haven't decided to subscribe yet) I tried tapping on to the "desk foobar play" object I can see in my devices page of the Alexa app on the phone but nothing happened.

      Any help to troubleshoot what's wrong, please?

      Thank you.
