      @Russ Just an update - I have not 'noticed' TRIGGERcmd failing since I started running the script daily. I do occasionally see multiple icons in the system tray that vanish if I hover over them - not sure if they stay after I run the script or if TRIGGERcmd crashed, then my script ran within that 24 hr window and started TRIGGERcmd back up but whichever it is, it has not been an inconvenience2023-10-27 17_40_37-Server - AnyDesk.jpg .

      @Russ OK. Thanks. As previously mentioned, I am now running that script nightly. Hopefully, even if I get a failure it will be short-lived.

      @Russ Well, for some odd reason Triggercmd stopped today and I found the following error message which was nothing like the previous failures:

      Might this have been a fluke with Triggercmd stopping or is it related?

      I also think I am going to increase my task scheduler (to stop and restart TRIGGERcmd) to run every day instead of once per week...

      @Russ Hi Russ. Well, its been a couple of months without any issues UNTIL yesterday, when I noticed I couldn't trigger any lights and checked my server to find: 68245a65-975b-4b72-a531-56a31c084510-image.png
      If you remember, I set it up to restart every week on Sunday.

      I also saw that multiple (3) TRIGGERcmdAGents were showing in the system tray. I had to acknowledge the error and manually restart it.
      Was wondering if you had any other users seeing this happen since spring.

      @Russ Hi Russ,

      I have not changed any setting for page file. When I go to that setting location for Virtual Memory, it was set to AUTO, so I turned it off and set 2048 as the initial size and 8192 as the MAX.

      I am running Norton 360 Premium.

      And I will add that task.

      @Russ Morning Russ. So I did reinstall the old version. Ran for quite a while but today my commands did not work so I checked my computer to find it crashed again:

      As always, I just closed it and restarted it with no issue. Maybe I need to create a routine where it daily shuts down and starts up?

      Other thoughts?

      @Russ how do I send it? Its too large to cut and paste. Also, I did have to reboot and then was able to use the .exe. But then I selected "UPDATE AGENT". Did I screw up and update the 'old' version?

      @Russ Uh oh. Just stopped TCA and tried to run the .exe and it failed. Do I need to first remove it? I did save the log file for the failure if you want it...

      @Russ I use Norton 360, and it is set up to automatically download but not restart the computer.

      As for the second suggestion, I did right-click and select UPDATE AGENT. Is that what you mean, or should I stop the agent, go to CONTROL PANEL / PROGRAMS and FEATURES and delete it there? And what is the most-recent version?

      I tried to find a link to customer support but I guess they don't have any - just the forum so hopefully someone here can help. I keep having issues with the agent stopping. The last time I did get an application error:

      but other times there is nothing - it just dies. I did try to update the agent but it still stops randomly.

      Any help or how to contact the software's customer support would be greatly appreciated.

      @Frank-Malczewski For anyone reading this post, we solved the problem.

      Before I followed the instructions above for sharing my computer with my wife (creating a triggercmd account for her and sharing my computer), I had tried to add her to MY triggercmd account by going on HER phone to HOME / SETUP DEVICE / WORKS WITH GOOGLE and linked to TriggerCMD Smart Home, which it accepted. But after following Russ' process for sharing the computer, neither of us could use Google to turn stuff on or off.

      What I had to do is DISCONNECT TriggerCMD Smart Home on HER phone, then reconnect it so it picked up her new triggercmd.com account. You cannot have two people trying to access the same account.

      Problem solved and now we both can talk to Google to turn lights on and off.

      EDIT: I see that Russ also posted that we solved this! We must have been typing at the same time...

      Well, as before, I got part of way through. I read the above, decided to not disable voice match and therefore go the route to add her. I was successful in creating her new account, used the email feature to her and accepted it in her account, and server does show up under her new triggercmd account (used google login method since I already have that account 'linked' to all the HOME devices. But when I looked at the voice command page, I saw nothing. When she tried to turn off a light, she got "Looks like TC is not available right now", so I must have missed a step.

      And to make matters worse, when I tried to turn off the same light, I got "Sorry, I couldn't reach TC Smarthome right now". It was at 8:15PM, EST.

      EDIT: Just tried to update Agent, then remove and reinstall background service. I then went to HOME and reconnected the account. In the past, this made it work for me. Right now, it is not working ("Sorry, I couldnt reach..."). And I did reboot the server after starting up the background service.

      EDIT2 If I go to triggercmd.com I can execute triggers...

      So, did I miss a step or is it that same problem as I had before?
