Evening, been following how to use triggercmd with the monoprice 6 zone amp but am running into issues where I cant even get the simplest commands such as powering on a channel to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Thank you,
      Jason

@djmalcom, have you seen this video? This link jumps right to the curl commands Bubba (Nate) is using: https://youtu.be/fHB_gjc1w8Q?t=1498

Looks like you need to install the MonoAmp software, configure it to use a particular COM port on your computer, and connect that COM port to the MonoAmp with a serial cable, then run the MonoAmp service. That will let you interact with your Monoprice amp by sending web requests via curl to your computer.

You're going to need to install curl from this page: http://www.confusedbycode.com/curl/

I found this link to download the MonoAmp software here: http://cocoontech.com/forums/topic/25893-monoprice-multi-zone-audio/page-5

@russ yes I got that far. I can run triggercmd and get the calculator and notepad to open but can’t seem to get the monoamp stuff to run. Can’t even get a simple on/off command to work.

Any additional help would be greatly appreciated.

@russ So I had to put in the IP address directly...the codes wouldnt accept the localhost command. Any idea why? Thanks
