Abort shutdown
-
I wonder how can i abort to shutdown my computer if i can only use one command per minute, so once i said to turn off, i cant go back? for example, my mom told alexa to turn off my pc and so it happened. Is there anyway to abort it and avoid to have my computer shutdown by anyone?
I use the /f command to force it to turn off so i it does not appear the message to cancel the shutdown and i know about the command to use to abort it, but since i can only use it after 1 minute its kinda useless -
@Dinas, if you change your shutdown command to 2 minutes instead of 1, you'd have time to abort the shutdown.
Use this command to abort:
shutdown /a

@Russ thank you so much for your answer but i use 10s to turn it off cause i dont to wait for 1min or more to do it u know. Actually i thought about doing somenthing like this (use more than 1 min) but its too much time to wait. So i was thinking about something faster that i'd do to cancel it as soon as i see the message that its going to shutdown. But ok, thx for ur time!
