Google Home Event run/edit
This may not be the right forum for this question, so if it not maybe you might know where I should go,
About 1 month ago my Samsung Note S10 + was updated (I just love these updates). Google Home stopped working the way it did before the update. Prior to the update I could open Google Home and select routines then I could see the list of events that I have created and execute them, OR I could select edit (button at the bottom of the screen) and then I could edit the events. Now I can edit the events but I have no option to run them. I've been hoping for a correction but no soap. Have you heard of this problem?

RE: Goggle Home dropping link to TriggerCmd.
Russ, Ok, the dropping link issue is closed - for me. The only problems I have been having are X10 related. You did well. Thanks.

RE: Goggle Home dropping link to TriggerCmd.
Russ, yesterday all five times worked. One at 7:30 AM, one at 8:30 AM, one at 4:00 PM and finally 9 events starting at 8:05 PM lights on. Oh I forgot at 10:05 PM lights off. I will keep track and keep you informed. We should know by say Wednesday. Thanks foe your tenacity!!

RE: Goggle Home dropping link to TriggerCmd.
I will relink and let you know. Thanks for the help. I am going to contact Google Home so they can tell how see what is linked. The instructions on the internet are from 2017 and don't apply to my version.

RE: Goggle Home dropping link to TriggerCmd.
Russ, how do I link trigger command? I have a great deal of time invested in my commands and would like to keep using them but if trigger command vs triggercmd might offer a solution to this problem I am willing to try it. BTW the 4 PM event (wax off) worked today.

RE: Goggle Home dropping link to TriggerCmd.
Russ, as far as I know I am linking only Google Home. Like you, this system has been running close to two years. I live in Fredericksburg, VA. Comcast/Xfinity is my service provider. The dropout seems to occur during the day. I have two events that run in the morning and one that runs at 4PM. The morning ones run but the problems shows up for the 4PM event. I manually run Google Home for this one 4PM event and it bombs. Says I am not linked. Would I like to and I key yes. Brings up triggerCmd and wants to know if I will allow TrigerCm to link. I say yes and the event runs. From 4PM through 10:45 PM I run about 15-20 events (mostly lighting) with no problem. The next morning the earlier mention events run fine. Then sometime between 8:30 AM and 4 PM the link is apparently drops. I'm so confused......
A little humor.... The 8:30AM event turns on my wife's wax candle warmers (6 of them via X10). The 4PM event turns them off. Now the humor. The company that makes the warmers is Sensi. Sensi, Sensi? Karate Kid. wait for it - the commands are WaxOn - WaxOff. You might be too young to relate to the movie humor bur I think its funny....

RE: Goggle Home dropping link to TriggerCmd.
Russ it happened again. Google says I need to talk to you. I tried to relink and it worked. Why am I being unlinked/logged off? This is getting old.

RE: Goggle Home dropping link to TriggerCmd.
Russ, after I sent the previous email, I wondered if I used my old password would it work, it did. I am now linked. Now I don't know if it wouldn't link earlier because my sign in password "is confused." I'll try to log into the the sight using both passwords and see what happens.

RE: Goggle Home dropping link to TriggerCmd.
Russ it just happened again. Now I can't login to relink with Goggle Home. I just paid (several days ago) for the next years service and during that effort I changed my password. Now I can't sign in. Help.

Goggle Home dropping link to TriggerCmd.
The link to triggerCmd keeps dropping off. I go to Goggle Home, run one of the triggers and it asks me if I want to link TrigeCmd. I say yes, it links and sometime in the next 24 hours it drops the link again. Any idesa? BTW this system has been running a couple years. Thanks, Byron

RE: Multiple Users (Revised)
Russ it works! Thanks so much for your help. My wife is sight impaired and we "discovered" Google Home last Christmas. Then I found out about Triggercmd. I spent weeks trying to get to work with X10. Got it going. I have three basic voice commands, device on, device off and dim device. So for every X10 device I have, I created a minimum of two and max of three batch files. What a chore. NOW I have to go back and rename probably everything to something meaningful to her. Wax ON and Wax Off was her idea way back when. They operate her Sensi candle warmers [that smell up the house :-)]. After getting the laptop as her default, I had her try yet again - bingo it worked. I don't think diamonds would have made her any happier. I have a ton of editing to do to make my, on the fly command names, something meaningful to her.

RE: Multiple Users (Revised)
Well it didn't work - exactly. When she says the command Google Home comes back and says "ok getting triggercmd". Then Google home says "Say something like, run Calculator on Office PC." The command was "Wax Off". I double checked to see if she is in fact shared with the laptop and she is. This routine is on her Phone's Google Home App. Any guess?

RE: Multiple Users (Revised)
I know this all seems really elementary considering what you have accomplished with this app but I loose sight of where I am and where I need to be. Your latest instruction worked. She's on the bloody phone right now so I have to wait to see if her voice commands work. Does she need all the "routines" on HER phone for the voice commands to work? I have 27 routines on mine where I created them. Have a Happy New Year!!

RE: Multiple Users (Revised)
I am not sure that I am out of the woods but I now have an icon on her phone for triggercmd. Click it and it automatically shows the trigger list. I tried a command and it worked!! I tried another one and it says she needs to subscribe to execute another command within one minute. If she needs to pay, no problem. Last question, I hope. How do we get her account linked Google Home?

RE: Multiple Users (Revised)
Russ thanks for the reply and the good news. Would it be too much trouble ask for help/guidance with the requirements? She does not have a computer just a Samsung 10+ smart phone. Where do I go to sign her up? I know, you are probably rolling your eyes......

Multiple Users (Revised)
I just read my first post and was not impressed. First, I am a new user to this forum. Second I have been using triggercmd for almost a year now. My wife wants to be able use the system as well. We tried today she said "Hey Google...Wax Off") and Google came back with "you do not have an account with triggercmd" or something similar. Can I configure Google Home/triggercmd to allow both of us to use voice commands to run stuff? As an aside, I use triggercmd to run 27 events throughout my house via X10. Wax On and Wax Off are two commands used to turn on and off her Wax Sensie warmers. Nice command. Thank you Karate Kid!

Multiple users
Can I add my wife's voice to activate triggercmd (multiple users)? Cost more?
